Environmental Impact Assessment
NSC has designed and managed environmental assessments ranging from small local projects to large scale, multi-billion dollar developments. NSC has extensive experience researching and compiling existing information, and in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of aquatic environment baseline data. When available, Aboriginal traditional knowledge informs our sampling programs, and is considered in the effects assessment. Effects are predicted using a combination of qualitative and quantitative models, often based on monitoring results from similar projects, and are compared to established benchmarks where they exist.Representative projects:
